This has been donated to the Gatsby Silent Auction in Winnsboro, TX on view at the Winnsboro Center for the Arts from March 7-23, 2024.

Wendy Koehrsen

Wendy is an award-winning artist, that has been juried into local, national, and international shows. Drawing and painting were on the backburner until she retired as a finance executive in 2022 after concluding a successful 35-year career. Her artwork has been described as realistic and fantasy, offering a kinder, gentler reality than one encounters each day. Subjects of paintings are inspired by trips, locally or abroad to bring pleasant thoughts to the viewer. She is a self-taught artist, influenced by her highly skilled grandmother in her early years. Wendy has taken professional courses and lectures over the years to expand her knowledge and reached signature status with the Pastel Society of the Southwest in 2020. She donates...
